There are lots of reasons why firefox is great here is a list of just a few.
1. No WGA – Firefox won’t prompt you to check your OS if your using a copy of genuine or not.
2. Can Be Install Everywhere – If your not one of Bill Gate’s follower, then you can still install Firefox. (linux supported)
3. Free – It won’t cost you a single dime. Unlike IE which need a Genuine copy of OS.
4. Small Utility – Lots of big features in small file. (approx. 5 mb)
5. Run On Removable Drive – Firefox won’t limit where you can install it, in fact you can run firefox on removable drive.
6. Installment Download – You can pause, stop, and resume downloads through its download manager.
7. Restore Closed Tab – Firefox saves recently closed tab, you’ll find this helpful if you accidentally closed a tab.
8. Hibernate Feature – When you open Firefox, it can reopen the tabs that were open when you exit Firefox.
9. Best Anti-phishing – IE7 and Firefox2 includes anti-phishing feature, but Firefox2 still rules. See Here….
10. Protection From Spyware – Firefox won’t allow website to install any software without your consent, which website company used technic to promote their product.
11. Privacy – A very helpful feature of Firefox is that you can tell it to erase your private data including those typed words on forms, the history and other data when you exit Firefox.
12. Built-in Spell Checker – Firefox has built-in spell checker, which checks your e-mail or blog post for errors, and when it found spelling error it will underlined the word.
13. Report Web Forgery – If you encountered a phising website, you can use firefox browser to report it.
14. Bookmark All Tabs – You can easily bookmark all if you have tabs opened that are related to each other.
15. Yellow Means Secured – Firefox will turn the URL address into yellow when you visit a secured site. (IE7 show only a padlock icon, means secured site)
16. Intelligent Address Bar – If you accidentally type your keyword queries in URL Address instead on Search box, Firefox intelligently won’t show you error, rather it will transfer you to Google with your queries.
17. Mouse Shortcut – Aside from keyboard shortcuts, Firefox also have mouse shortcuts.
18. Page Info – Firefox include a feature that can show you information about the current page.
19. Email link – If you want to send a link to you friend, then you can use Firefox to email it to your friends, also you can include comments.
20. Veterans vs The Rookie – IE first version was released on August, 1995, Opera’s first version was released on 1996, while Firefox was released only on September 2002. This means that Firefox is doing great with its young age.
21. Open Source – Meaning there are lots of ideas involved in the making of Firefox.
